Railcar Couplers for Wheel Loaders or Tractors
Dymax Railcar Couplers are attachments that adapt to wheel loaders or tractors enabling operations such as coops, aggregate and load transfer facilities, port and terminal railways and rail yard applications to safely pull railcars. Dymax Railcar coupler systems are available to fit the front and rear of Wheel Loaders and Tractors with a minimum of 115-130 horsepower for pulling small car volumes.
They feature integrated free slide frames. Available with nylatron slide bearings or in hydraulic side shift. Each model features a standard AAR cast railcar knuckle. When equipped with the vertical float option the coupler will adjust, if the loader is traveling on uneven terrain.

Front and Rear Mounted Railcar Couplers – Wheel Loader Models
Dymax Front Mounted Railcar Quick Couplers feature free slide frames with pivoting AAR train car coupler with hydraulic pin. Made to fit specific wheel loader coupler systems or can be made to pin direct to the loader arms. Optional vertical float with shelf coupler available for uneven terrain applications.
Dymax Rear Mounted Railcar Quick Coupler Solutions are designed specifically to fit the make and model of each machine. We work closely with OEM’s to make sure that stability of the loader and performance is not effected. Rear mounted railcar coupler systems feature free slide frames with pivoting AAR train car coupler with hydraulic pin.
