What’s in a name? Sometimes not much. Often everything. Dymax was born amidst the values and beliefs of the Balderson family. It’s a name that has long stood for quality, integrity, and service.
Scott Balderson
President and CEO
Scott arrived at Dymax in 1997 along with his father, Clark. He grew up in and around the Balderson Inc. offices and in Wamego, Kansas. Scott brings to Dymax international business experience, as well as valuable lessons and traditions learned from his father and grandfather about customer service, straightforward business dealings, and attention to detail.
Clark Balderson
Chairman and CFO
Clark joined Balderson Inc. in 1970 after spending his childhood surrounded by the ever-present family business. He became president of the company in 1982, a position he held until his resignation January 1, 1996. During that time, Balderson Inc. grew to be one of the largest suppliers of specialty attachments in the world. He purchased a controlling interest in Dymax in March 1997. Most days, he can be found doing everything from answering sales calls to planning future growth.
Rusty Ecord
Director of Sales and Products
Rusty Ecord joins Dymax as Director of Sales and Products, bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience in equipment, account management, and customer service. Throughout his career, he has led teams, managed key accounts, and built new business from the ground up — all with a focus on delivering results and putting customers first.
Kaycia VanSickle
Sales Administrative Manager
Kaycia Joined Dymax in 2020 working in purchasing, planning and production.
Carl Williams
Product and Customer Experience Manager
Carl started at Dymax in the early 2000s as a welder building large mining products, including dozer blades and rock buckets. Over the years, he’s gained knowledge of sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering. He currently serves as Dymax’s Product and Customer Experience Manager.
Jeff Grieshaber
Product Support Coordinator
Jeff Grieshaber leads product support and service at Dymax/DymaxRail. He takes a hands-on, practical approach focused on real-world support and fast problem-solving.
Jeff brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations experience, rooted in family-owned businesses. He spent much of his career at Travalong Trailers, where he worked his way up from the shop floor to Chief Operations Officer and part-owner.
His background spans production, quality, welding, and custom product development. The goal is simple: responsive support and a consistently strong customer experience.
