The HPX16 is a powerful tree shear attachment for excavators that is used for taking down the toughest trees on the planet. An excellent choice for any land clearing contractor or land management operator. The HPX16 is available for medium to large excavators and delivers up to 70 tons of shearing force.  With a maximum cut capacity of 16 inches (41cm) the HPX16 can easily cut trees of all types including hardwoods.  Like most Dymax Excavator Tree Shears the HPX16 features continuous blade and arm support during the cut to increase durability and performance.

FAQ’S

The HPX16 is designed for 16–23 ton mid to large excavators.

Up to 16 inches (41 cm).

Yes. Each HPX shear uses grapples to maintain control of the tree so the operator can place it safely. The HPX16 has a dual grapple configuration. (Twin shear arms with dual grapples).

It depends on the model and whether you have rotation. Generally, the range for HPX16 is 20–30 GPM @ 4,000 PSI. Rotation models add a second circuit.

The HPX16 tree shear is available with 60° or 97° rotation. Rotation models use two hydraulic circuits.
