The HPX14 is a powerful tree shear attachment for excavators that is used for taking down the toughest trees on the planet. An excellent choice for any land clearing contractor or land management operator. The HPX14 is available for medium to large excavators and delivers up to 62 tons of shearing force. With a maximum cut capacity of 14 inches (36cm) the HPX14 can easily cut trees of all types, including hardwoods. Like most Dymax Excavator Tree Shears, the HPX14 features continuous blade and arm support during the cut to increase durability and performance.

What size excavator is this tree shear designed for?

The HPX14 is designed for 13–20 ton mid-sized excavators.

What is the maximum cutting diameter?

Up to 14 inches (36 cm).

Does it hold the tree after the cut?

Yes. Each HPX shear uses grapples to maintain control of the tree so the operator can place it safely. The HPX14 has a dual grapple configuration. (Twin shear arms with dual grapples.)

What hydraulic flow and pressure are required?

It depends on the model and whether you have rotation. Generally, the range for HPX14 is 15–25 GPM @ 3,500 PSI for standard; rotation models add a second circuit.
