If you are needing to clear land with trees or mixed vegetation, or maybe you need to process some firewood, then look no further than the Dymax HPX8 high-performance tree shear. Available for compact excavators, this little guy makes quick work of hardwoods up to 8 inches in diameter. Each model is equipped with a single grapple to safely bring down trees, allowing operators to place them into collective piles.

The HPX8 is built for 5–6 ton compact hydraulic excavators.

Up to 8 inches (20 cm).

Yes. Each HPX shear uses grapples to maintain control of the tree so the operator can place it safely. The HPX8 has a single grapple configuration.

It depends on the model and whether you have rotation. Generally, the range for HPX8 is 10–20 GPM, max 3,000 PSI (single circuit).
