A V-plow splits snow to both sides, which makes it the stronger choice for breaking open the deepest, hardest-packed drifts. A one-way plow uses a single angled moldboard to roll snow up and cast it to one side. That makes it the better fit on two-lane rural and county roads, where snow needs to go off the shoulder instead of into the other lane. Many crews run both. “High side” is operator shorthand for a one-way plow. The moldboard is taller at the discharge end than at the leading end, so snow climbs the curve and rolls off the tall side. On the Dymax One-Way Plow, the moldboard rises from 41.5 in at the nose to 61 in at the discharge end. |

Yes. The heavy-duty adjustable skid shoes set the cutting edge height, so you can keep the edge above the gravel until a packed snow base forms. Once the base is established, lower the edge to cut closer. |

The cutting edge and nose stinger bolt on, and the skid shoes are replaceable. When they wear, you swap parts instead of rebuilding the moldboard. Replacement edges and shoes are available through your Dymax dealer or direct at 1-800-530-5407. |
