A straight blade has a flat, wingless moldboard for pushing, spreading, and leveling.

It’s the go-to for moving dirt, maintaining haul roads, reclamation backfill, coal and stockpile work, sand and aggregate loading, snow pushing, and general site grading.

A straight blade spreads and levels cleanly and handles side-to-side grading well.

U blades and Semi-U blades have angled wings that carry more material per pass, but give up some finish control.
