WHAT IS A RECLAMATION DOZER BLADE?

A reclamation dozer blade is an oversized U-shaped blade built to push loose fill — overburden that’s already been pulled from the pit and dropped by a dragline — back into mined-out ground.

The large wings build a U-shaped pile in front of the machine, so it carries far more material per pass than a general-purpose blade.

WHICH DOZERS DO DYMAX RECLAMATION BLADES FIT?

They mount to factory outside-mounted push arms on Cat and Komatsu crawler dozers, from the D6 class up to the D11.

Standard capacities run from 10.46 cubic yards and 12 feet wide on a D6-class machine to 70 cubic yards and 24 feet wide on a D11.

WHAT WEAR PACKAGES CAN I ADD FOR ABRASIVE GROUND?

For moderate to high abrasion, add an AR400 liner package. For the most punishing material, add a full chrome-carbide 3/8-on-3/8 facing across the moldboard, plus replaceable side cutters and vertical slat rock guards.
